EPIC’s engineers have developed a continuous mixing skid that allows manufacturers to begin hand sanitizer production faster, with lower cost and greater compliance. It provides an opportunity for manufacturers to keep employees working and supports a key global effort to manage the on-going pandemic. Because this sanitizer skid is fully automated, it provides a greater level of formula quality assurance and less manual labor. Additional benefits of this system include:

Hand sanitizer skids utilize a flammable alcohol ingredient and must be stored and mixed in Class 1, Division 2 locations. You must provide an adequate understanding of the following three situations to convert your area to a Class I, Division 2 location.
Following the Coronavirus outbreak, EPIC has received several requests to help manufacturers quickly convert their operations to a hand sanitizer continuous mixing approach. With the hand sanitizer shortage in mind, EPIC is proud to apply our 20+ years of continuous mixing expertise to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.
EPIC’s engineers and in-house craftsmen bring two decades of experience designing and building proven continuous blending skids, systems and machines that are FDA and OTC compliant, but that’s not all we do. We can also integrate or design the ancillary systems around the skid (other feed pumps, tanks or systems). EPIC has upgrades available for Class I, Division 2 (C1D2), minor ingredient storage tanks, and finished product storage.
Below are just a few examples of the many continuous blending skids EPIC has manufactured over the years. Note that these photos depict skids that were custom designed to each client’s specification, and may have additional features compared to the continuous mixing skid described above.
