Typical Minor Ingredient Dosing Module

EPIC will tailor the  inline blending and/or dosing skid system to your specific product and ingredients, and integrate the system seamlessly within your manufacturing facility. In line blending and dosing systems are delivered fully assembled and tested, ready to make finished products.

Typical blending and dosing systems feature the following:

  • Accurate ingredient addition rates are achieved via either variable speed positive displacement pumps or properly sized control values
  • Raw blending and dosing system materials can be replenished without shutting down the continuous inline blending system
  • Modules can be arranged in many different ways to accommodate rooms of different aspects ratios
  • All raw blending system materials unloading and product delivery hardware are self-contained on the module
  • The blending system can easily be relocated across the plant or across the country as changing business needs dictate

EPIC will team with you to fully extract the following:

  • All ingredients and finished products with physical property data including:
    • Density
    • Static and kinematic viscosity at processing temperature
    • Vapor pressure
    • Closed cup flash point
    • Solubility data
    • MSDS data
  • Percent of formula of all ingredients for all finished product SKU’s
  • Minimum and maximum packaging rates (in terms off finished product volume or weight)
  • Mean time between product SKU changeovers
  • Ingredient addition accuracies desired
  • A listing of known critical processing information based upon past experience

The EPIC Continuous In Line Blending System can be used to mix:

  • Non-Newtonian fluids
