Dual Skid Continuous Chemical Blending System With Variable Flow Rates
A major ingredients module blended a pre-mix and several other ingredients into a base formula. This base mix was pumped to the second skid that added: dyes, ancillary chemicals and perfumes to manufacture a wide range of end-products. The second chemical injection skid was immediately upstream of the filler and both skids featured automated recipe inline mixing controls and variable flow rates.

Blending System Expands Products With Minimal Capital Investments
A Fortune 100 consumer products company needed to quickly increase the number of deodorizing spray products that could be mixed in the existing facility. EPIC designed, built and installed the two-skid modular continuous inline blending solutions. The continuous system allowed the client to mix various combinations of up to fifteen minor ingredients into the base formula. The base formula was mixed in a separate skid and piped to the minors skid for dosing.
Key Features: In line mixing skids for major and minor ingredients, variable flow provided by flow control valves and variable speed drives, automated in-pipe blending with HMI, product-to-product washouts.
