Inline Blending Skid Adds 20 New Flavors at Minimal Cost
With a limited budget and limited floor space, this Fortune 500 client needed to double the flavors mixed in their existing flavor manufacturing facility. A pre-engineered, field-proven in-line blending skid from EPIC provided a fast, economic solution that allowed the client to drastically expand the product portfolio with minimal equipment additions.
Key Features: Outside pre-mix blending skid, JIT perfuming inline blending system with multiple ingredient trees integrated with existing product making line, coupled blending and filling system featuring a mix tank with pump re-circulation
Batch Blending Systems for Time-Release Fragrance Encapsulation Technology
A consumer fragrance company needed two new multi-skid systems designed, fabricated and delivered to two different international plant locations to produce a new time-release fragrance encapsulation product that was being introduced to the market.
Key Features: Process scale up from lab scale molecular technology, five batch blending modules working together as one system, system designed to encapsulate oils into polymer, one clean-in-place (CIP) module system also included, system designed to break apart for international container shipment
Vacuum Distillation Column Increases Purity of Liquid Flavor Product
EPIC designed and fabricated a vacuum distillation system for a liquid flavors company in the food and beverage industry. The client needed to scale up production of an existing batch distillation process of a proprietary liquid flavor that had seen a spike in popularity.
