A successful 18 month pilot test to prove industrial viability was made possible through the design, fabrication and installation of a chemical pilot plant by EPIC. Refinery Desulfurization Plant; Industrial Chemical Plant
Thirty-two chemical pilot plant modules were designed by EPIC to create a complete desulfurization plant for a refinery. The modules were built off-site during the winter months in the controlled environment of EPIC’s fabrication facility, dramatically reducing OSHA exposure hours and improving fabrication quality. Fully tested before shipment, the chemical skids arrived ready for startup upon installation, fully heat traced.

A client required a full plant conversion from a manual mixing system to an automated batching system. The conversion reduced risk and improved accuracy and output for the client with a muti-stage batch mixing system. The system was engineered to manage 100+ formulations of highly flammable chemicals and was designed, programmed and installed by EPIC. Two continuous production systems.
