Tank Farm Systems
EPIC designs and fully installs tank farm systems and chemical storage systems for manufacturing. Specializing with custom tank farm design and module fabrication, EPIC handles all aspects of onsite plant construction management to prepare your plant for a new tank farm. Fully automated to ensure accurate delivery of raw ingredients, EPIC's tank farms incorporate proper heating and cooling mechanisms to keep manufacturing processes safe and valuable chemicals protected.
We begin by working with you to understand your process manufacturing objectives. EPIC's engineers analyze the site environment and conditions where the tank farm will reside to determine the correct heating and cooling requirements for each tank. Systems are designed with coils served off of the header and precision valves that can open or close for tank heating and cooling if required.
A DESIGN-BUILD APPROACH TO TANK FARM SYSTEMS
At EPIC, we use our Front-End Engineering approach on all tank farms and tank systems. Our engineers perform heat transfer calculations for both system losses and heating requirements. Heat exchangers, pumps, control valves, and other tank farm equipment is sized, specified, and procured by EPIC. Physical tank farm system modules are designed and fabricated per ASME B31 standards and hydro-tested prior to shipment from our shop. To ensure your tank farm is ready for installation and seamless startup, EPIC project manages the tank farm system from concept to startup through:
- Tank farm system design
- Equipment specification and procurement
- Process automation
- Modular system fabrication
- Plant construction management
- Onsite system installation
- Tank farm system startup and support
